ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us as we host the this Annual Archery Tournament in loving memory of former Panola Mountain State Park Ranger
& Archery Instructor, Sam Randle.
During her tenure at Panola Mountain State Park, it is estimated that Sam shared her love of Archery with some 6,000+ students before her short lived battle with Colon Cancer.

In her honor, on what would've been her

35th birthday weekend in 2018, we brought back an event that

she was integral in establishing back in 2013

- the Annual Panola Mountain State Park Archery Tournament.

Returning for it's second year, this event is a non-qualifying tournament open to the public, for both experienced archers, as well as beginners interested in the sport. Participating archers will enjoy a fun & friendly scored competition* with prizes awarded based on performance and by raffle.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the

Friends of Panola Mountain State Park Organization,

benefitting Panola Mountain State Park.

Registrants have the opportunity to compete in either:

1) the Static range event, 2) the 3D range event, or

3) both events.

Additional event details & registration information will be available this summer. Stay tuned!

*Panola Mountain State Park Archery instructors will oversee & calculate competition scoring based on NASP regulations.
